The JOHN and MARY PAPPAJOHN EDUCATION CENTER
 The John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center provides flexible, state-of-the-art facilities to accommodate a wide range of learning opportunities. The Center provides education and training spaces, accommodating approximately 450 people.
The 34,000 square-foot Center is designed to meet the diverse needs of continuing education professionals. The Center includes small, medium and large class/conference rooms; two distance education rooms; and a lecture hall. All rooms are equipped to handle audio/visual needs. Apart from the distance education (ICN) classrooms, each of the classrooms and meeting rooms in the Center is outfitted with wireless network access points providing computer network capability for all students and teachers.
The infrastructure affords the Center the flexibility to schedule and set up classroom space for lectures, discussions, computer training or computer lab use as the needs exist. This increased flexibility also increases the capacity of the Center for ensuring the most current computer-related skill training as it is needed. A local area network (LAN) allows faculty and students to use printers at the Center.

Food & Beverage Expectations
Food is allowed in common areas of the Pappajohn Education Center but not allowed during all class sessions. Beverages are allowed. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in building or on the grounds adjacent to building. Students and faculty are expected to leave rooms and equipment in the state they were found. Multiple sessions take place per day in each room, please be considerate of those who may follow you.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the Pappajohn Education Center or near any of the entrances. There is a designated smoking area near the southwest corner of the building. |
